Sharon Palma

Sharon Palma is an active board member and hosts the popular "Local Biz" show on WSBS with co-host Steffen Root.

Sharon has served as director of marketing and development for the much-loved Berkshire South Regional Community Center. Previously, she spent 11-1/2 years as the Executive Director of the Southern Berkshire Chamber of Commerce. She has been an enthusiastic supporter of the local currency concept from the beginning.

She has lived, with her husband Lee (a native of Housatonic), in the southern Berkshires for the past 23 years where they have settled on a beautiful hilltop in Sheffield that they share with their Golden Retriever Marley.
