Steffen Root

Steffen Root is co-owner of Berkshire Bike and Board in Great Barrington. He is a local native growing up in South Egremont.  He attended the Great Barrington Rudolf Steiner School, then the Berkshire School in Sheffield and went on to complete four years in Vermont at Green Mountain College. An opportunity to purchase the bike shop after college, where he had worked since it opened, brought him back to the area. He now lives in Housatonic with his fiancée Patricia Bears.
