Looking for donations? Looking for places to make donations? You’re in luck!

The end of the year is fast approaching and now is the time to think about
how to handle any last minute donations, whether you’re making them to your
favorite non-profits or you’re a non-profit hoping to receive them.

Non-profit organizations have the option of accepting donations in
BerkShares and donors have the ability to support non-profits and keep
BerkShares circulating by making donations in BerkShares. Please see the
list below of area non-profits currently accepting BerkShares.

Whether you as a donor purchase them specifically for making a donation, or
you’ve taken in more during the course of doing business than you can spend,
supporting your favorite non-profit while keeping BerkShares circulating
within our region is a win-win situation for everyone involved.

An informational session for anyone considering donations in BerkShares
(either making or receiving) and how to account for them will be held
Thursday, December 11th at 4 pm in the E. F. Schumacher Society library, 140
Jug End Road in South Egremont.
